TAKEOFF / ACTUAL PLAN COUNTS

Select a type to isolate its numbered source marks.

IMPORTANT HVAC / ELECTRICAL NOTES

QUANTITIES / DIMENSIONS

Select a row to show its exact source basis.

ASSEMBLIES / ACCESSORIES

Scaled fifth-floor plan

Fifteen exact plan occurrences and seven visible plan-scale paths are individually retained.

N.T.S. elevator-control detail

14 labeled reference samples are preserved as non-additive evidence; all detail curves are excluded from LF.

Elevator equipment / accessories

Contractors to supply and install the following equipment (and wiring/conduit) per elevator requirements: (a) fusible disconnect (JH) with auxiliary contact & shunt trip, for elevator system; (b) fusible disconnect (JH1) with auxiliary contact, for motor control; (c) non-fusible disconnect (JHS) with auxiliary contact, for inspection & test panel (LDU); (d) disconnecting means (JHL) for auxiliary power and lighting; (e) overcurrent protective devices within JH and JH1; (f) ground fault protection, as required per NEC 620-61.

NOTES / REFERENCES

1. For home runs (from units) 100 FT or more, the electrical contractor has to check the voltage drop and select the suitable cables size to comply with the maximum allowed voltage drop for the feeder conductor (3%). The maximum combined voltage drop on both installed feeder conductors and branch circuit conductors to the farthest connected load or outlet shall not exceed 5 percent.

2. The contractor shall verify with the owner/franchise for the quantities and locations of the low voltage system devices (camera, card reader, wireless access point, etc.) and provide all necessary accessories to complete the wiring, power supply for the devices as per the manufacturer specifications/installation guidelines.

3. The contractor shall verify location of all floor outlets with furniture/arch. prior to installation.

4. Electrical contractors must verify all electrical requirements with the HVAC and plumbing systems to provide all necessary accessories to complete the control wiring for the motors.

1. Contractor shall provide J-boxes for fire smoke dampers at 5th floor, connect to L5.A-30, using 2#12, 1/2-inch conduit.

1. The panelboard shall be lockable and accessible to qualified persons only. Field verification of the best location of electrical panels prior to installation. The location of electrical panels must comply with 110.26 and 240.24 of the NEC.

2. Receptacle outlets above the ceiling for maintenance.

1. Drawing for guideline only. Contact elevator suppliers to verify all power requirements prior to installation.

2. Provide motor control (TSU) located at the top of the hoistway.

3. Provide inspection & test panel (LDU) located within the door jamb at floor 5.

4. Contractors to supply and install the following equipment (and wiring/conduit) per elevator requirements: (a) fusible disconnect (JH) with auxiliary contact & shunt trip, for elevator system; (b) fusible disconnect (JH1) with auxiliary contact, for motor control; (c) non-fusible disconnect (JHS) with auxiliary contact, for inspection & test panel (LDU); (d) disconnecting means (JHL) for auxiliary power and lighting; (e) overcurrent protective devices within JH and JH1; (f) ground fault protection, as required per NEC 620-61.

5. Electrical contractors should verify all electrical requirement with elevator supplier prior to installation.

BROKEN CHAINS & PLAN ISSUES

E34-01 · Blocking Guestroom Takeoff

All 24 guestrooms are architectural backgrounds with no power symbols on E3.4, and this sheet prints no typical-room cross-reference. No multiplication or zero-quantity conclusion is supportable.

E34-02 · Missing Quantity

The fire/smoke-damper note requires J-boxes on the fifth floor but prints neither quantity nor locations; L5.A-30 routing is absent.

E34-03 · External Design Dependency

Elevator detail is guideline-only and requires supplier verification of all power, equipment, wiring and conduit requirements.

E34-04 · Notation Conflict

Elevator Note 4d specifies a JHL disconnecting means, while visible detail labels show LDU, JHS, JH1 and TSU; no JHL label is visible in the enlarged sample.

E34-05 · Unresolved Tag

HP is plotted in Elevator Lobby 500 but HP is not defined on this sheet; its function/rating cannot be certified without another schedule or discipline reference.

E34-06 · Assembly Ambiguity

The C.P connection includes adjacent square/circular graphics but only the combined C.P tag is legible; separate accessory identities and quantities are not certifiable.

E34-07 · Circuit Scope

L5.A-26 and L5.A-28 identify source circuits, but the sheet does not state conductor count for the visible curved branches; the circuit split at shared-looking endpoints must not be inferred.

E34-08 · Detail Scale

All elevator-control graphic lengths are excluded because Detail 2 is explicitly N.T.S.

E34-09 · Field Verification

Panel locations, low-voltage quantities/locations, floor outlets, motor controls, and elevator requirements remain subject to owner/architect/contractor/supplier verification.

E34-10 · Wire Takeoff Limitation

Drawn curves do not establish installed routing, verticals, hidden lengths, conductor/conduit LF, or fittings; those fields remain null.
