A2.5 · FIFTH FLOOR TAKEOFF

TAKEOFF / COUNTS

Select a takeoff to isolate its colored, numbered marks.

AREAS / WALL RUNS / FLOOR BUILDUP

⅛″ scale · printed dimensions checked with A1.4.
30 room/core records · 24 bathroom zones.

Select a quantity to show its boundary and basis.

Room / wall quantity basis

Guestroom footprints include internal partition footprints. Each bathroom zone is part of its room total; the remaining footprint is shown separately. Final finish breaks follow the finish plans.

Room wall faces are gross perimeters before openings. Shared construction-wall runs are counted once in their own register. Wall heights and board layers come from the assigned assembly and sections.

Stair and elevator records are floor-level core footprints. Their full footprints are excluded from the floor-deck basis; reconcile landings and actual openings with structural details.

24 guest kitchenette assemblies

24 sink locations counted. Carry each room’s shown appliance bays, worktops, cabinets, backsplash, hardware and connections into the enlarged-room takeoff using its room identity.

24 bath / shower assemblies

Bathroom zones, lavatories, water closets and bath/shower footprints are recorded separately. Carry wet-area board, tile backing, waterproofing, accessories, grab bars and supports from the applicable enlarged details.

Guest furniture / window-wall assemblies

24 sofa/workstation groupings; 29 beds; 26 window assemblies. Coordinate side tables, lamps, media panels, curtains, window-wall equipment, blocking and FF&E selections by room.

PLAN NOTES / REFERENCES

Interior identification, directional and guestroom signage per the printed brand note. Background music designed and installed to brand standards.

Ice provision · linked from A2.2

A2.2 Hilton review requires ice-machine provision on every guestroom level; carry this floor’s device, drain, exhaust, finish and connections into coordination.

DRAWN CONNECTIONS

505 ↔ 507 · 512 ↔ 514 · 524 ↔ 526

BROKEN CHAINS & PLAN ISSUES

PI-01 · Connecting rooms

Three physical connecting locations: 505–507, 512–514 and 524–526. The repeated GR-03 text at paired leaves is counted as one opening assembly. Rooms 512 and 514 are explicitly labeled connecting, giving three connecting king-studio labels against one in the matrix.

PI-02 · Room mix / beds

Room 526 is an accessible king studio with one king bed. This floor has 19 king beds and 10 queen beds; do not carry the second floor’s two-queen layout into this room.

PI-03 · Accessible-room totals

The building matrix contains nine ADA rooms; the adjacent note states four accessible rooms without roll-in showers plus one with a roll-in shower. Reconcile those totals and the separately stated nine hearing-impaired rooms.

PI-04 · Connecting-room basis

The note uses 81 rooms × 10% = eight required and ten provided, while the matrix totals 107 rooms and eleven connecting-room entries. Resolve the room-versus-pair basis.

PI-05 · Signage brand

The general note names HAMPTON INN interior signage on this Home2 Suites project. Confirm room identification, directional and other interior sign standards.

BC-01 · Wall types

No W1–W6 wall tags are identified on this sheet. Corridor, shared guestroom and exterior runs are kept separate. Assign exact A0.2 assemblies and heights from the applicable wall sections; do not infer material from line weight or hatch alone.

BC-02 · Floor buildup

The 54.7 CY gypcrete basis uses the A0.2 1½-inch layer on 11,811.0 SF after full stair/core deductions. Reconcile stair landings, actual slab openings, wet-area buildup and structural deck limits before final material quantities.

BC-03 · Ice provision / cross-sheet note

A2.2 requires an ice machine at every guestroom level. One provision is carried for floor 5; its location, floor drain, finish and exhaust are not plotted here.

BC-04 · Room finishes / furniture

24 bathroom zones and remaining room footprints are retained. Resolve finish boundaries, cabinet/appliance specifications, media panels, side tables, lamps, accessories and mounting/backing through enlarged rooms and FF&E. Small freestanding outlines remain furniture-type coordination items.

BC-05 · Life safety / continuing systems

Reconcile emergency lights, exit signs and fire cabinets with the floor-specific life-safety/electrical sheets. Stair zones and elevator shaft outlines continue the existing building systems; they are not additional systems per floor.

BC-06 · Opening schedules

Only the bath access in suite 507 carries GR-06. Suite 502 does not repeat the second floor’s extra GR-06 location. Match actual opening locations and paired leaves to the door/hardware schedules.

PI-06 · Missing references

Floor Plan Key Notes has a heading without note text. A section marker near grid 12 has a blank/dash destination. Resolve the references.

PI-07 · Plan caption

The drawing caption reads FIFTH FLOOR RCP, while the sheet title is FIFTH FLOOR PLAN and the drawing shows the floor/furniture layout. Resolve the caption before using it as a reflected-ceiling plan.
